P.T. at Exhibition Camp

1916 03 30 pt 1John Boyd took a number of pictures on March 30, 1916 of the BD and PT Class, that is, the “specially selected atheletes [sic]” of the Bayonet Drill and Physical Training Class.

Their exercises included hopping like frogs and “springing into the air from a crouching position.”

In the thin March sunshine with Lake Ontario in the background, their “strenuous work” would at least have kept them warm.
