Not all work

Battery historians were unanimous about the recreational advantages of Camp Petawawa, especially during the heat of the summer. “The broad, sandy Ottawa offered excellent swimming” (1)  — “as fine swimming as can be found between the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans” (2).
