Thursday Routine the same, this life begins to grow sickening
To the routine was surely added a great deal of preparation for tomorrow’s inspection by Brigadier General Hughes of his new command, the Fifth Canadian Division.
According to Archie Wills, “all the batteries are getting things into fine shape,” and harness cleaning is the order of the day — in fact, they worked “right through to ‘lights out.'” At least the weather was fine. (1)
