Monday         The country looked great yesterday. We took a long walk yesterday started about 2 p.m. went out to Hambledon, had tea in a country cottage, Went to Hambledon church in the evening, took a snap of the largest yew tree in Eng. Today ordinary

hambledon yew flickr ashley wood 2008Percy’s snap hasn’t survived, but that yew tree has. It is older than the church building in whose cemetery it stands.
