Cité St Pierre, January 2, 1918

1918 diary 001Hostile activity today is again a little higher than has been usual recently, but “it seems to indicate nervousness rather than an aggressive attitude.” (1)

Percy’s gun is among the last to be moved to its new position farther to the right of the line. (2)

Percy’s new diary is much smaller than last year’s, easier to tuck into a tunic pocket or in a corner of a kitbag.
